A portrait of Belisario Gache Pirán. Argentine Minister of Justice and Public Instruction. Belisario Gache Pirán ( Buenos Aires , 5 of January of 1908 - 21 of maypole of 1960 ) was a lawyer and notary Argentine , who served as Minister of Justice and Public Instruction of their country during the first presidency of Juan Domingo Peron . Belisario son of Martin and Mercedes Pirán Gache, studied at the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires , where he received his clerk in 1929 and 1938. He was a lawyer in a federal court secretary between 1932 and 1942; It was then Federal Public Prosecutor until 1944, when he was appointed Judge of the Federal jurisdiction. 1 During the dictatorship that began in 1943 supported the actions of Colonel Juan Domingo Peron in favor of unions, at which time he met Peron personally, with whom he began a personal friendship. During the events leading to the demonstration of 17 October 1945, Peron asked his then girlfriend, Maria Eva Duarte , who asked protection Gache Pirán if the Navy intended to hold him. 2 After his election victory the following year, the President Peron appointed Minister of Justice and Public Instruction . In 1946 he was appointed Minister of Justice and Public Instruction of the Nation. During his tenure took place the trial of the ministers of the Supreme Court of Argentina , which had no part. With regard to education policy, most notable was the large number of public works of the period, and the massive increase in school enrollment. 3 the Workers ' University, the current was also founded National Technological University . 4 From the ministerial reform of 1949 was Minister of Justice, occupying that position until 1952. 1 He died in Buenos Aires in 1960, and was buried in Recoleta Cemetery .
