Grafting Operation on ship the Nasis "sank." This is the finished product after a run in the Delaware River. She appears to find that her new bow and stern fit comfortably and few signs of the grafting operations show, although faint wrinkles in her plates just above the water line aft of the new bow bear witness still to the punishment she took in the Mediterranean. Part British-part American, she's off to war again, and was last reported to be in action against the Japs in the Pacific.
