Lazar Kolisevski was a communist political leader in the Socialist Republic of Macedonia and briefly the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. He was closely allied with Tito. He was born on 12 February 1914 and died on 6 July 2000. Josip Broz Tito was a Yugoslav revolutionary and statesman, serving in various roles from 1943 until his death in 1980. During World War II he was the leader of the Partisans, often regarded as the most effective resistance movement in occupied Europe. He was born on 7 May 1892 and died on 4 May 1980.
