Konni Zilliacus was a left-wing Labour Party politician in the United Kingdom. Zilliacus's extensive contacts with figures in Eastern Europe during the Cold War era, together with his frequent support for positions promoted by the Soviet Union, periodically brought him into conflict with the Labour Party leadership and led in 1949 to his temporary expulsion from the party. In 1952, he was readmitted to the Labour Party, and he took Manchester Gorton district in the 1955 UK general election. He held the seat until his death, on 6 July 1967. He was born on 13 September 1894 and died on 6 July 1967.
