IL-96 (Iljushin IL-96) is a four-jet passenger aircraft, the aircraft is designed by Iljusjin and uses the same engines (Aviadvigatel PS-90) as the two-engine Tupolev Tu-204. The aircraft type flew the first time in 1988 and has so far been manufactured in 28 copies. The out of a hangar at an aviation plant in the Russian southern city of Voronezh, April 26. The $ 70 million wide-body IL-96T cargo plane was unveiled several months late due to a lack of funding.
