1992 Ford Maverick - Vintage Photograph

With its large ground clearance of 22 centimeters, the new Ford Maverick with switchable all-wheel drive moves easily in rough terrain and through water to a depth of 45 centimeters. Thanks to its slope angles of 35 degrees (front) and 37 degrees (rear), it can master gradients of up to 39 degrees. The Maverick will be launched as a three-door model with a short wheelbase and five seats and as a five-door seven-seater (shown here) with a long wheelbase. Two four-cylinder engines are available, a 2.4-liter 12V gasoline injector (91 kW / 124 hp) and a 2.7-liter turbodiesel (74 kW / 100 hp). Depending on the engine, the Maverick loads 570 to 830 kilograms and pulls up to 2.58 tons.

In the past, the photos were often parts of a series or were mass-produced by the archives. Nowadays, their number is decimated - many were destroyed by time, use, or natural disasters. Few were preserved and are nowadays carefully stored in our archives.
