On Monday, the Swedish Aviation Administration initiated a comprehensive weighing of 12,000 air passengers on Arlanda. The result is the basis for international adjustments to the weight and balance of the plane. An initial weighing of 4,000 passengers last winter showed that Sweden's average weight increased by about ten kilos to 68 kilos for women and 85 for men. The CAA now wants to confirm these results. Few were preserved and are nowadays carefully stored in our archives.
