1990 Toyota Previa - Vintage Photograph

Toyota Previa, the newly developed 16 valve engine with a displacement of 2.4 liters and electronic fuel injection delivers 97 kW (132 hp) at 5,000 rpm. The four-cylinder engine delivers its maximum torque of 204 Newton meters at 4,000 rpm. With a bore ratio of 95 to 86 millimeters, the unit, the exhaust gases of which are detoxified by two series connected three way catalytic converters according to the US standard, is one of the short-stroke engines. Despite the low piston speeds, the Previa engine was not designed for high speeds, but for smooth torque running. The result: 90 percent of the maximum torque is available between 2,000 and 5,000 min.

Few were preserved and are nowadays carefully stored in our archives.
