ENG: On October 6, 1991, at 3:05 pm, the German television station Das Erste Deutsche Fernsehen/ARD aired the 1956 film "Das Mädchen Marion". The story follows a widow and her daughter who flee East Prussia with a Trakehner horse during the end of the war and find a new home on a farm in Lower Saxony. After many complications, their horse Prusso gains fame in a tournament. The film was directed by Wolfgang Schleif, written by Dr. Felix Lützkendorf, photographed by Igor Oberg, and scored by Mark Lothar. In this scene, Marion von Hoff (Brigitte Grothum) is in love with the veterinarian Dr. Peter Meining (Carl Raddatz). Few were preserved and are nowadays carefully stored in our archives.
