Svindersvik is a well-preserved summer fun from the 18th century in the middle of Sicklaö parish in Nacka municipality. The buildings are located at Svindersviken's southern beach in Nacka and were designed by architect Carl Hårleman for the merchant Claes Grill. The property is considered one of Sweden's best-kept rococo plants. [1] In the 1940s, Svindersvik was transferred to the Nordic Museum, which is one of the reasons why the summer holiday is still so well preserved and has retained its original character. Another reason is that Svindersvik has never been a year-round residence. Swine fever is managed and displayed in the summer by the Nordic Museum. In summer, the house is shown to the public.

In the past, the photos were often parts of a series or were mass-produced by the archives. Nowadays, their number is decimated - many were destroyed by time, use, or natural disasters. Few were preserved and are nowadays carefully stored in our archives.
