Renault 18 - Vintage Photograph

Renault 18 is the name of a new model series that will be available in the Federal Republic in autumn. What is striking for Renault is that this car, which can be classified as an upper middle class, opted for a notchback body. The 4-door vehicle, which is available in 6 model variants, is equipped with either a 1.4-liter engine or a 1.7-liter light-alloy engine. The two four-cylinder engines developed from proven Renault engines produce 64 and 79 hp. The Renault 18 has front-wheel drive. The 79 hp version is also available with a 5-speed and automatic transmission. The Renault 18 does not replace the Renault 12 or the Renault 16. Because it is significantly higher than the Renault 12, and it does not offer Renault 16 drivers the variable luggage compartment with a tailgate. Since the photos are old press photographs they may have scratches, lines, or other wears of time, which just underlines the authenticity and age of the photos. In the past, the photos were often parts of a series or were mass-produced by the archives. Nowadays, their number is decimated - many were destroyed by time, use, or natural disasters. Few were preserved and are nowadays carefully stored in our archives.
