Volvo 700 Series, Volvo 700 models, The Volvo 740 is a rear-wheel drive passenger car manufactured by Volvo between 1984-1992 and was a bestseller during the 1980s. The 740 series is a simpler sister model to the more luxurious 760 series. The Volvo 760 is a Swedish passenger car manufactured by Volvo at the Volvo factory in Kalmar and launched in 1982. The 760 series laid the foundation for a new and modern model program in the 1980s for Volvo. 760 was further developed and replaced by Volvo 960. The Volvo 780 is a passenger car model manufactured by Volvo between 1985 and 1990. The Volvo 780 is a coupé version of the Volvo 760, designed by Italian Bertone and manufactured in small print. The car is similar to the sister models in the 700 series Volvo 740 and Volvo 760, but was exterior brand new. The Volvo 780 was manufactured in 1985-1991 in 8518 copies and mounted in Italy by Bertone. In the past, the photos were often parts of a series or were mass-produced by the archives. Nowadays, their number is decimated - many were destroyed by time, use, or natural disasters. Few were preserved and are nowadays carefully stored in our archives.
