October 18, 1971: The new Mercedes-Benz 300 SL of the series 300 SL is delivered in Stuttgart from a team of specialists from the new Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing-Factory manufacturing. The 300 SL is equipped with a variety of modifications and supplements. In your vehicle construction, the 300 SL is accordingly a "Gullwing-300 SL". With the delivery attempt of this new 300 SL, the series 300 SL at the Stuttgart plant is now on your second company year. 18. Oktober 1971: Die neue Mercedes-Benz 300 SL der Baureihe 300 SL wird in Stuttgart von einem Team von Spezialisten der neuen Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing-Werks-Fertigung ausgeliefert. Die 300 SL wird mit einer Vielzahl von Modifikationen und Ergänzungen ausgestattet. In ihrem Fahrzeugbau ist die 300 SL dementsprechend auch ein "Gullwing-300 SL". Mit dem Auslieferungsversuch dieser neuen 300 SL ist die Baureihe 300 SL im Werk Stuttgart nunmehr auf ihrem zweiten Firmenjahrgang.

Since the photos are old press photographs they may have scratches, lines, or other wears of time, which just underlines the authenticity and age of the photos. In the past, the photos were often parts of a series or were mass-produced by the archives. Nowadays, their number is decimated - many were destroyed by time, use, or natural disasters. Few were preserved and are nowadays carefully stored in our archives.
