Cricket player Raman Subba Row, aged 27 and the England and Northamptonshire captain, was pictured with his fiancée, Miss Anne Harrison, aged 23, of Shirley Park, Surrey, walking in London on Thursday, November 12th, 1959. Subba Row was born in Croydon, England, and educated at Whitgift School in Croydon. He first won a blue at Cambridge University in 1951, and played in three Varsity matches. He played for Surrey in 1953 and 1954 and then joined Northamptonshire in 1955. He played in one Test Match against India last summer and will be part of the MCC Touring Team to the West Indies next month.
