Gunnel Beckman Gunnel Märta Lisa Beckman, born Torulf April 16, 1910 in Falköping, died December 3, 2003 in the Solna parish, [1] was a Swedish writer. She was married since 1933 with Birger Beckman. Beckman, daughter of Councilor John Torulf and Willy Wiedesheim-Paul, became a philosophy candidate in Lund in 1932 and was a member of the Morning Tour in Gothenburg in 1932-1940. She served as a board member in 1967-1980 and member of the Board of Children and Youth in 1975-1980. [2] She is primarily famous for her realistic youth novels. Admission to the party broke a taboo by portraying a teenage girl who has been told that she has a fatal disease. Both in the book and in the books about Mia (three weeks over time and spring when everything happened) the author takes up women's questions.
