Mercedes-Benz S-class. New to the S-class range: the S 420 coupé. Since spring 1994, entry to the S-class coupé range has been become even more attractive, with the S 420 coupé version taking its place beside the S 500 and S 600. Its V8 light-alloy engine has an output of 205 kW/279 hp. Maximum handling stability, particularly when moving off from standstill or accelerating, is provided by the electronically controlled acceleration skid control (ASR). A striking new feature of the S-class coupés are the new 18 inch 5-hole light- alloy wheels with 255/45 ZR 18 wide tyres.

Since the photos are old press photographs they may have scratches, lines, or other wears of time, which just underlines the authenticity and age of the photos. In the past, the photos were often parts of a series or were mass-produced by the archives. Nowadays, their number is decimated - many were destroyed by time, use, or natural disasters. Few were preserved and are nowadays carefully stored in our archives.
