Swedish Author Barbro Myrberg - Vintage Photograph

Barbro Eivor Myrberg, born June 18, 1933 in the Katarina parish in Stockholm, died December 6, 1993 in the Kungsholm parish in Stockholm, was a Swedish writer. Barbro Myrberg was the daughter of the retreat chorus Bertil Hilding and Eva Hemström. She debuted with the youth book I speak about Lena (1972)] followed by Karin (1976), Lena about Lena (1977), Just gone (1977), and An entirely different party (1987). First she was married in 1953–1960 to Hans Söderberg (born 1927) and had twins Pia and Olle (born 1953). She was then married to actor Per Myrberg (born 1933) in 1960–76 and had sons Patrik (born 1962) and Fredrik (born 1963). Three of her four children have starred in Swedish films.

In the past, the photos were often parts of a series or were mass-produced by the archives. Nowadays, their number is decimated - many were destroyed by time, use, or natural disasters. Few were preserved and are nowadays carefully stored in our archives.
