Troubador Pierre Ström - Vintage Photograph

Pierre Erik Ström, originally Per Erik Ström, born April 14, 1943 in St. John's Parish in Stockholm, is a Swedish troubadour. He has been a professional singer and artist since 1965. Pierre Ström was one of the so-called Swedish whales in the 1960s and 1970s. He is (2009) chairman of the Professional Tribunas Association, YTF, which he also joined and started in 1971. Pierre Ström often appears as an interpreter of Carl Michael Bellman's visions and has been Skansens Bellman for 40 years in a row. In 2014 he received the Nils Ferlin Society's Trubadur Award.

Since the photos are old press photographs they may have scratches, lines, or other wears of time, which just underlines the authenticity and age of the photos. In the past, the photos were often parts of a series or were mass-produced by the archives. Nowadays, their number is decimated - many were destroyed by time, use, or natural disasters. Few were preserved and are nowadays carefully stored in our archives.
