Kasmin´s Camera at Lyndsey Ingram Gallery in London
This summer saw the exhibition Kasmin´s Camera at the London gallery Lyndsey Ingram, a selection of 100 photographs from the archives of photographer and legendary art dealer John "Kas" Kasmin were presented to the public to mark the photographer´s 90th birthday. The photographs chronicle artists such as David Hockney, Helen Frankenthaler, Howard Hodgin, Patrick Proctor and others and document a vibrant London art scene in the 1960´s and 1970´s. Kas opened his first gallery in 1960 and David Hockney was among the first artists signed. A book based on the photographs of the exhibition will be published during the early autumn.
